Repak is a not for profit company created by Ireland’s recycling industry to help businesses meet their legal obligation with packaging legislation. In 2017, notorious was briefed to execute a creative PR campaign to promote the 20th anniversary of Repak, positioning the company as a trusted thought leader amongst its members and consumers.
notorious staged a future gazing panel event that placed Repak front and centre of an important conversation about recycling in Ireland. Taking place in Dublin’s Science Gallery, broadcaster and event MC Jonathan McCrea led an insightful discussion on the impact of change brought about by the nation’s recycling habits.
Conceptual photography captured the panellists of Repak’s 20th anniversary event including environmental scientist Dr. Tara Shine and CEO of Repak, Séamus Clancy. The photos were issued alongside a press release that highlighted Repak’s key achievements over the last twenty years.
To drive additional awareness of the 20th anniversary, a selection of Ireland’s media and influencers received a personalised birthday cake. Accompanying each cake was an infographic with key campaign messaging which secured additional coverage on digital channels for the campaign.
